Nestled on the interior of North Coast Village, sparkling ocean views and the lullaby of beach-time activity beckon to be lost in the moment at our Castaway Cove condo. Located on the second floor of the “D” building, you’re sure to fall in love with your selected abode's private and relaxed atmosphere.

This maritime-meets-coastal-farmhouse vacation rental exceeds all of our traveling guests' most particular requests -- easy access to the beach, mesmerizing ocean views, updated interior, cozy sleeping quarters, and full use of all resort amenities! This flexible space is also great for business travelers, small families of 4, or a couple's retreat.

With lush landscaping, a koi pond, and loads of kid-friendly activities, North Coast Village is ideal for grownups and tykes alike. Luxuriate in the community’s two spa Jacuzzis, splash around in the pool, or challenge a relative to a mean game of eight-ball or ping pong (the condo has paddles and balls).

When you want to get out, you have 10 spectacular beaches to choose from, just minutes from the complex.

The kids will flip when they find out that six of the country’s most famous theme parks are less than an hour away, including Legoland, the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, even Disneyland, and California Adventure. Charming Condo On A Beautiful Property
My wife and 11 year old really enjoyed our stay at North Coast Village! The amenities were great and the location next to the beach was even better. We really enjoyed our condo unit, the pics and description were accurate and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Getaway Location
We had a great time. Everything was as expected and went really smooth. Would definitely recommend to others and if the opportunity came up, we would not hesitate to stay here again. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been limiting the kid's access to the hot tub. It was difficult to relax in the evenings in the hot tub that was constantly overrun with young kids. In the end, it sort of forced us to find alternatives like walking on the beach or dinner/drinks in the harbor so all turned out great in the end.

This place has a beautiful view of the ocean and easy access to both pool and beach. Beach chairs,towels, and even a beach bag were provided! It is an hours drive from Disneyland and about that same distance from Sea World and San Diego Zoo. Would highly recommend!!

The property is a little aged, and some of the age is showing inside the unit(multiple layers of paint, fixtures and rust on closet door frames, but it is definitely clean and livable. The location is perfect for a do nothing, relaxing trip. Walking distance to all the restaurants and the beach is 2 minutes from front door to the water. The property overall is immaculate, very well landscaped with an awesome tropical feel. You won’t be disappointed.

Short Family Vacay
We arrived in the area after hours but checking in wasn't an issue. Good details were provided via email a day before arriving. Unit was clean and cozy when we arrived. The space was well decorated and maintained. The kitchen was a bit small and it contained bare minimal things to cook. For instance only a small baking sheet was provided. The toaster didn't work and they had two microwaves because one didn't work. So the counter space was minimal. Eating spaces were good, Patio was good and Master-bedroom was a good size.

Terrific Beach condo with such a great "vibe".
We have stayed at North Coast a number of times and love it there. The resort property is showing it's age but they are relentless about maintenance. It has such a terrific feel; the grounds are amazing, the cleanliness of all of the facilities are outstanding, and the location is second to none. We are rating this particular condo four stars rather than five as it isn't updated yet. Once it gets the usual remodel it will easily be a five or even better! It has an absolutely terrific location and view - even the parking spot is ideal. The management team is the best of the best. What a terrific vacation property! Thank you again for your hospitality.

Fraudulent Charge
I was happy with this stay until I got home. We stayed for 1 week in this rental. The grounds are beautiful, we loved the location and property. The unit itself was nice, it was clean. There is a lack of cookware for long term stay. Our biggest issue was after leaving, I recieve an email that I am being charged $50 for property damage. The property management stated 2 towels and a hand towel were damage. They sent pictures of the 3 towels that had minimal makeup on the towel. I wish I could add the pic to this comment. These towels simply need to be put in the washing machine and it would be gone. Was the housekeeping upset they had to wash towels? Either way this charge is fraudulent as no property was damaged and we left the unit spotless. We are a very clean and respectful of peoples properties. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and never had any issues. I would never stay with this property management team in the North Coast Village units again if this is how they conduct business. ALL RENTERS BEWARE.

Great stay right next to the beach
We’ve stayed at this exact resort before (different apartment) and it did NOT disappoint! The space was clean and nice. It has everything we needed. Our 2 kids aged 11 & 7 slept on the pull out couch, only thing is this is not comfortable as an adult but fine for kids. The king bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great! There is no AC, but there are 2 fans we used that helped kept the space cool. Overall it was a good stay. Would recommend! Recommendation, it would be nice to have ways to watch Netflix or other apps on the TV’s, maybe some spices, and condiments (but those aren’t essential) thank you! We enjoyed the stay!

Good Location
Enjoyed location the most as it’s right on the beach and you can hear the ocean all night. The pool was close, too with a nice hot tub area. The grounds were gorgeous with all the foliage! Only reason not five stars was the shower/tub was small and old with no good place to set your bottles; there were random ants that popped up here and there, especially if you happen to leave any food out anywhere; there was no salt and pepper in the unit which I thought was weird because no one I know packs salt and pepper to go on vacay; and no ac is a downside for sure, but there were ceiling fans and keeping the windows all open helped. We slept comfortably though with a family of four of us. There was also lots of beach stuff which was convenient. We loved having boogie boards to use. Overall, it was a great step up from our original plans to stay in a hotel not on the beach, and the price is comparable to similar things in the area, annnddd we had a great time walking up and down the beach and pier.

We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. The community amenities are great! The pool and hot tub and grills were awesome. It's a quick walk to the beach and you can see and hear the ocean from the room. The room came with boogie boards and beach chairs to use during our stay. Unfortunately, the room had A LOT of ants. They were all over the inside of the kitchen cabinets and in the bathroom. I notified them when we checked in and didn't hear back until late the next day. They offered to come spray and let us know they left a can of Raid under the sink. I didn't want them to come spray all of our stuff (or have to spend our vacation cleaning out all of the cupboards) so we just used the raid in the bathroom and dealt with the ants in the kitchen.

Barely enough towels, no extra pillows for the couch bed, the toiletries they say they provide are less then what's provided at a hotel. The hot water heater was terrible. The condo complex itself has a MASSIVE ant problem. We left our vacation and my truck was infested with ants. We had to stop at the car wash, vacuum for 45 minutes, and still drive 6 hours with ants in my truck. We reached out to the main condo manager and haven't received anything back. Overall, be carefull. Make sure to take extra of anything you might need. Including towels.

Beautiful property close to beach
The condo itself was great. Everything was as pictured and the bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in. There are ocean views from both the balcony and the bedroom. It's a short walk to the beach and the pier. My whole family loved it, and we'll definitely be back.

This was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in very clean. We had everything we needed for the stay even the kitchen was stocked. And the area was great close to everything would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!!

The condo was great as advertised. The security staff was exceptional! Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Soft towels. Only 2 complaints. When I checked in, my packet was not available, it took time to get my keys and get checked in. Once that finally happened, security was awesome and came to check on me. I got lots of emails from the hosts, but when I emailed/texted to ask for a late check-out as instructed, I got no response. Overall, great time and I recommend it.
