The hotel was very nice, very rustic and having the restaurant and coffee shop onsite was very convenient. The only complaint I would have is the beds are very, very firm and there is no option for a different type of pillow. Also, be aware that you will be charged $28 a day for parking. Overall it was a good stay, just not very comfortable sleeping if you are used to a soft bed.

Love this hotel, would totally return! Perfect location walking distance to cafes, shops and beach . Happy hour downstairs and lovely, simple and clean overall. Great shower pressure and everything you need.

When we showed up to check in at the hotel we were told our reservation have been canceled due to a maintenance issue in the hotel, and that we should’ve been rebooked somewhere else by Expedia, but we never heard from anyone. This was the first time we heard that our reservation has been canceled so we were left high and dry and had to find another place to stay. Not impressed with The Fin hotel at all of the way they handled this.

Small friendly hotel, well located
The room isn’t huge, but it’s comfortable and well designed. Great location within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier and several wonderful restaurants. (The Switchboard restaurant in the hotel is worth checking out too.) Well located for anyone traveling on Amtrak or the Coaster. The staff is also very helpful.

Walking distance to the beach. There’s a bag with towels inside each room which is convenient. There’s a bar and local coffee shop inside the hotel which serves food. We only had breakfast, but it was very good. Staff were very friendly.
