Lower Level Pet Friendly Beachfront Duplex with a Spa P913-2

This home is the lower unit of a duplex on the beach in Oceanside, California. It has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a large porch overlooking the ocean. The common area has a fire-pit, great for those summer nights! Within walking distance to the Oceanside Pier and to the Oceanside Harbor for great shops, restaurants, and boat excursions. This home can also be rented together with the upper unit.

PARKING: 2 parking spaces (1 car garage & 1 street parking space in front of the driveway)

Additional parking is available at our office, located at 1640 Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside CA 92054.

Nice get-away

Relaxing, awesome ocean view from both outside patio area and thru big windows if inside. Had our 2 dogs with us who enjoyed the large yard and a place to zonk out after getting back from Del Mar dog beach about 20min south. No sand by house unless you walk toward the pier, but didnt miss it.

Great location

The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. We loved the sight and sound of the ocean so close. We did have an issue with the dishwasher, but one phone call and someone came and fixed it within about 30 minutes.

Beautiful beachfront home

By far, this has been the absolutely most amazing beach house rental EVER! It is right on the ocean with amazing set-up outside with 2 fire pits. The inside is beautiful and sleeps so many people! Each room has a connecting bathroom! This rental is even more amazing than advertised!!

An Amazing time on the beach

Our family really enjoyed our week getaway in Oceanside at this beachfront property. The pictures are close to accurate but the salt, sand, water has done a number on the property (expected with being so close to the ocean). We loved being able to bring the dogs and walking to the pier and restaurants. We had a great time! FYI - Gardeners come on Tuesday mornings (early). And bottom unit has only one off street parking space.

We’re local and this felt like a vacation!

Our family celebrated our daughters 12th birthday at this awesome property and it could not have been more perfect. There is a “suite” with bunk beds, bathroom, game table and more beds that the kids really enjoyed. The kitchen and living area are huge with views of the ocean. You can walk across the little street to a sand beach. We played a lot of Bach games then came back to bbq and cook s’mores. No complaints at all! Again, we live in Encinitas and this place felt like we flew to Hawaii for the weekend!

The backyard is right on the beach with a comfortable outdoor couch, fire pits and tons of relaxing chairs. There are even stairs right down to the sand! The inside is decorated calming and relaxing and has everything you could ever want. One room even has 2 sets of queen size bunk beds with an added trundle! Perfect for big parties! It's a don't miss!

Has everything needed for our vacation getaway - Master bedroom has awesome views the moment you open your eyes, large patio great for everyone and fires in the community pit is so much fun. Kids can play in the sand out under umbrellas without being right on the water which is so convenient for little ones.. Kitchen has all supplies needed for cooking in for a big crowd. Well stocked with linens and towels, three bathrooms definitely a big plus! Would highly recommend this beautiful home and would definitely book this home again. Thantks BFO, had a great stay :0)

Furnishings are adequate neighborhood is slightly rougher than I expected and people like to walk across the backyard more than I was comfortable with. Backyard is amazing, but surf is crazy strong and you certainly have no beach. Only major disappointment was the sand in the back yard. The photos made it look like kids could play in the yard sand, but the sand was practically nonexistent and completely washed into the ground. With no beach, that left us w sad kiddos. Overall a good trip!

Too noisy

Beautiful ocean retreat in every way except instead of rising to the symphony of the ocean we were awaken at 6 am every morning to pounding, jumping and scrething of a toddler from 6-8 am we heard every move every toy rolling about the floor . There was literally no buffer between our unit and the duplex above. They desperately need to have better installation between the two units as it effects the enjoyment of the stay. Unfortunately these other reviews were not available at time of booking. I do not anticipate a return visit or a recommendation to friends as noise unacceptable. Owner needs to fix or advise before booking.

Home was roomy and well laid out, had plenty of space for our group. Three bathrooms was awesome! Kitchen was well stocked with stuff needed to cook in and save money. Everything was tastefully decorated. The view from master bedroom was priceless, loved waking up to it every day. Patio and firepit were used more than the interior dining room and family room. We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows almost every night. Having umbrellas and sand in our back yard without being on the beach was perfect to relax with our grandkids. Just a half a dozen steps down and we were right on the beach probably 20 feet from water at low tide. First day our private beach was all rocks, then the tide came in and washed all the rocks away and we had smooth sand for the rest of our trip! We had SUP/Kayaks and took them out every day from our lovely little spot. Body surfing and boogie boarding was good there too! Overall our experience was fantastic, had plenty of linens, everything worked out great for us. Would rent again in the future and highly receommend this place for anyone who wants an extraordinary getaway!

Great potential, lack of upkeep

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for a long weekend in June. Overall the location and house plus outdoor area were great. Right on the water with quick access to the beach and a somewhat sandy area for relaxing. Common area fire pit and private hot tub that was not in the house description. However, I was disappointed by the misrepresentation from the pictures online to what was in real life. The house was overall ok, but in need of paint, small repairs here and there, and just overall brightness that was in the descriptions. Where this place really feel down was the outside back area. There were weeds EVERYWHERE. The ‘sandy’ private beach area was anything but sandy. It was hard and full of rocks. The chairs were old and weathered and had bird poop on some. It was just a huge disappointment from the great pictures. I even called about the landscaping and the office was aware and joked it had been awhile since being maintained. I would stay here again but would need current visuals on the state of the property before booking.
