"Natural Hot Springs Dormy Inn is always our #1 choice when we visit Morioka. It’s in a very convenient location to visit many museums and points of attraction in downtown Morioka. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and very understanding with my limited Japanese. They are also very responsive to messages on apps or emails. "Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. "Ski in ski out. Lots of facilities. Great selection of food for the breakfast and dinner buffet by ski resort standard. Premium room was spacious and clean and looks new and has a great view for a family of 4. I’d come back again. "

"Excellent location right beside Morioka station. The staff was very good and the breakfast was good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I don't really like the machine-check in they've switched to. There are Front Desk staff standing right there watching me check in on the machine--it's very impersonal and probably a little less efficient because I didn't know the process clearly. "Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."

"Love the staff. They tried their best to speak English, and are extremely friendly. We got a few things from the souvenir shop, which was great to bring as gifts for friends and family. The room was spacious. I book a remodeled room but the bathroom seemed a bit outdated. The food was fine for what they had. The relaxation room was great with free ice cream, soda and tea. Overall I am satisfied with my stay."
