"Rug was grubby looking, this was the only place where we did not want to walk around barefoot and used slippers in the room. Really didn't like the fabric toilet seat cover. Onsen was small. Checkout at 9 am too early!"

"My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at this ryokan in January of 2025. The property was very beautiful and well maintained! The onsen were excellent as well, once you got the hang of onsen etiquette. The ryokan is also situated near the base of Zao ski resort so you can walk over there for a day of skiing followed by a nice warm soak in the onsen! Additionally the breakfast and dinner experiences were incredible, everything was delicious and my boyfriend's food allergies were taken into...

"the stay came with breakfast and dinner every day. and really good breakfast and dinner too. breakfast was paired with tea service on the way to the dining area. dinner was paired with free chocolate and sparkling wine. the hot springs were amazing. private onsen available too. friendly staff. surprisingly easy to get to."

"スタッフの方々のサービスはとても親切で良かったと思います。 館内も癒されるもので溢れていて居心地も良かったです。 お食事は盛り付けも綺麗ですし 演出も最高なのですが量、質が満足出来た感じではありませんでした。 山形県産米を使っていたのですがお家で炊いたご飯の方がツヤ感ももち感も上でした。県産米が生かされていなくて残念です。 せっかくの素敵な旅館なので お食事のグレードはもっとＵＰしても良いと思います。"
