"Stayed in a female only cabin. Everything was very clean in the rooms and the shared toilets. The instructions on classifying the rubbish is very clear and can definitely be understood by tourists who don’t read Japanese. The staff can speak in both Japanese and English. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered to help me check out before I even asked for it. The surrounding area is a residential area so it’s very quiet and safe. I walked to the hostel from the station a few times at late night alone and felt comfortable with it. "

"Very spacious room. Hotel is clean and well kept. BONUS, you have a view of Mt. Fuji from your Balcony. The shops around the area are pricy but a 5 min walk will get you to the more affordable shops. Its close to the train station, I suggest using the overpass as it connects to everything. Tachikawa is underrated location, Its location is central to Tokyo and Day trip areas. "
