"For the last twelve years we have spent January and February in the Everglades area because we love to kayak. This property exceeds all of the others in which we've stayed - roomy, good beds, attractive design, comfortable furniture, room for a trailer and car, and lovely screened lanai with a great view of the bay and pool. The owners quickly respond to questions and keep visitors informed of activities around the condo complex. We love staying here."

Relaxing stay on the river

"Comfortable one-night stay while visiting the Everglades. Really loved the screened-in porch overlooking the river, particularly in the evening and when having my morning coffee. Free use of canoes was a plus. The location is convenient for boat tours of the Everglades or for those who enjoy fishing (private dock with fish-cleaning area). Cooking facilities are included and there are several restaurant options are nearby."

Simply Awesome!

"Our long weekend stay in Choko was nothing short of awesome, and the experience all starts with the host. Heather was without a doubt the best VRBO host we've encountered to date, and I challenge anyone to find a more responsive, courteous and friendly host. The tiny home was extremely clean, well-stocked and exactly what the pics show. We were able to dock our 24' bay boat directly behind the house and the available pulley system made the Choko tides a non-issue. Live shrimp/ice were available only 30 sec walk away if needed and the sunsets at the end of the dock are a must see. Thank you Heather/Bruce for accommodating our stay and we will absolutely be back in touch for future stays."

"Older property but clean room, comfortable bed, and lovely staff. The desk check in was super fast and the housekeepers all greeted us warmly and with a smile. Pleasantly surprised by this property! And kudos to the staff. "
