"This cabin was just absolutely perfect! Cozy and quaint is a wonderful description. We ventured to DCL for a couple days of skiing and a few more days of complete relaxation for my birthday. The location was just right. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast pastries, a nice dinner out, a homey hearty breakfast, and ski rentals and slopes all within minutes. The king bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was toasty, hot tub was hot and bubbly, fireplace fires kept us warm while settling in at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We didn’t cook much because of our shorter stay, but the hosts had it all! They were even kind enough to supply those little extras you worry about having.. paper towels, TP, dish soap, trash bags, sponges, dishwasher soap, tissues. The hosts kept an open line of communication with us to make sure that everything was up to our liking. They had some extra wood delivered during our stay to make sure we were set. It certainly felt like they were SHARING their lake house with you, not just renting it for the sake of renting it. It’s experiences like this that make me say that when I return to DCL, I will seek out this property again. "

"The space was perfect for two families with small kids and convenient to Wisp. Definitely recommend AWD for the driveway in the snow, but the listing is very clear about that. Kasey was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay here again. "

"The Gathering Place was such a great property with suberb hosts. I was most impressed with communication from the owners and the tips and details they provided before our arrival. It helped so much with planning. We arrived to a help basket with some favorite treats like popcorn and hot cocoa which was a plesant surprise. The properyy is homey and modern. I was impressed with the size of the.bunk beds and all the beds. There were plenty of blankets and cookware. Pretty much had everything we needed for a group. Hot tub was ready to go at night and although we didnt use the firepit, we were pleased to find wood ready to go if we did. The owners communicated so well before, during, and after our stay. They made sure we were comfortable and addressed any questions right away. Highly recommend!!"

"We had an amazing time, beautiful house, fully stocked with everything we needed, the owners even had a crockpot delivered for our stay! We had a few small issues but the owners were VERY HELPFUL and ATTENTIVE. We'll definitely be returning in the fall for another weekend, it was what we needed!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Highly recommend this rental!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs window. we piled towels to mediate. My only hesitation about returning to Magnolia would be the heating situation. We had a wonderful time!!"

"Serenity Shores was a good option for our family of seven. Close to the slopes for the skiers in our group and nice space for the family who stayed in doing puzzles, playing games etc. Everyone loved the hot tub. Beautiful views from the front of the house "

"The house was beautiful, plenty of space for everyone to spread out yet be together. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, even the pillows (I take issue with flat pillows and these were memory foam). Plenty of things to do in this house, no need to leave for entertainment. A definite repeat for out family."
