"Cosy and comfortable. Decent bedding and excellent duvet. Really nice breakast. The bathroom safety rails should be replaced as very rusty but plenty of hot water. Overall very clean, only let down by the rusty rails in the bathroom. Wouldnt put me off staying again, it was so peaceful and comfortable."

Barman new my name to expect me, took an order for breakfast in the morning (which was great!) and the room was massive and comfy. Didn’t cost me to park either - would definitely stay again and hopefully get a beer too next time!"

"I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. "This is an old building, so think quirky shaped rooms and features, not boring square boxes. That doesn't mean that it is dated inside though, it has been decorated to a high standard, and is spotlessly clean and tidy, and tastefully furnished. Our room was bigger than we expected, with loads of space even though the (very comfortable) bed was huge.
