"There were 5 of us on this trip - 4 adults and one child and we stayed one week in February at the villa. The photos do not do justice to the space - it is an incredible oasis away from the buzz of the city. We have ask Chris to put us in touch with the local driver (Cherif) who was lovely and took us in and out of the city and on a day trip. In terms of costs we found this pricey and probably would not do it again (we paid over £500 for him). The people who look after the villa were really nice...

"Bernard’s place is a lovely villa tucked in quiet green residence. We had an amazing time there will surely book again next time. Leila is a lovely cook, did everything we asked of her, Thank you very much. And Aziz the driver was ever so helpful, took us wherever we needed to go. As a family it was ideal in terms of security, somewhere for the kids to play and take long walks. All round 5 stars"

"Riad was gorgeous, well maintained inside with plenty of room for a large family or group. Bedding was good, air conditioning worked, kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils. Could use a few sharp knives. We had first rate service, owner provided pick up from the airport and we paid to have a meal cooked in the home on day of arrival which was lovely. "We had an amazing stay at riad Beldi,All the staff were super helpful it was very clean and the breakfast was great!! The area was daunting at first in the old Medina. Be aware there are no local supermarkets for refreshments or alcohol. The showers were very temperamental. Would like to thank Abdullah for keeping us safe at night and making all the coffees!!
