"We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious. "

"Not a bad hotel but a shame breakfast was accompanied by the pinging of the microwave and that the ‘pastries’ were some pretty uninspiring cheap looking croissants. I appreciate we stayed there on Boxing Day but I’d still expect slightly better breakfast. "

"Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! Thanks Andy for such an enjoyable stay!"

"I was lead to believe (from hotels.com presentation) I had a cabin with a private hot tub, and would therefore expect an en-suite. I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. " basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night"

"Very clean, great breakfast and good service. My main issue was the water heater in the bedroom. When it went off it was like a jet engine mainly late evening but at times through the night and for around an hour at 6am. I was in room 5 so if a light sleeper do not have that room. "

"Perfect central location with complimentary parking. We stayed in the deluxe room with the bath which was lovely and spacious over two floors. It was modern, high-end finishes, clean and well equipped with cups, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, Smeg fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine. We stayed a Saturday night and we could hear the beat and feel the vibrations of the nearby club that must be within the same building. It didn't stop us sleeping and would definitely stay again. "Love the hotel, the grounds lovely, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing was the tv had only four channels, no ITV or channel 4 Or 5. Would have been nice to have these later in the evening. "

"We stayed here for one night, lovely hotel but please be aware that to use the pool this comes with a separate cost in addition to the stay. Breakfast also comes with different options however it’s a free for all help yourself style so I’d recommend going with the cheapest option."
