Avoid Purple Rain which was aptly named as the combined tiny room with toilet and shower wash basin not compartmentalised was leaking water which flowed into the other room a bedroom. "Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. "Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day.
