"Even considering the fact that we were staying here TOTALLY "off-season", which ended roughly 30 days earlier (it IS close to Yellowstone, after all) when no doubt they are "fully booked" from spring thru fall, the fact that we were the ONLY customers in the entire motel was a surprise to us and, truthfully, very welcome after a long 6½ hour drive from northern Montana to visit friends. "The house is about 4-5 miles from Gardiner, Montana, which is at the northern entrance to Gardiner, so it's very quiet but still close enough to town so it's an easy drive to restaurants, the grocery store, etc. The house itself is great. It's a fabulous mix of rustic and fancy, with a great living room and kitchen and really nice bedrooms.
