"There were a couple of maitenance issues which we had to work around. The kitchenette is quite basic for the cost of a stay. No stove or oven. Location is good, however you have to carry everything up quite a few steep stairs."

"Fabulous cozy comfort immersed within insitue wilderness and rocky coastline.Large windows were a treat for morning pink sunrise views across bay from bedroom and golden sun drenched sunset drinks after long day of fantastic hikes and sightseeing on both islands. The warmth from the easy starting wood heater melted our tired muscles into comfy chairs with drinks in hand to enjoy the views and occasional blustery stormy afternoon sunset. "Beautifully appointed house in a great area close to the river. Ducted a/c kept us warm and washing dried in no time. Had an issue with the toaster and a new one was delivered promptly. Large sunny living area. Will be back "

"From the minute I contacted Elle, she could not do more to help. She went as far as purchasing a travel cot for us to use for our stay. We were greeted by a beautiful fruit platter and other little goodies. Everything is so well stocked; laundry powder, toiletries, condiments, zip-lock bags etc. For that, we were very grateful. Would love to have some history of the original part of the home displayed/available for interests sake. So conveniently located at the end of the street about 100m walk...

"Clean, great views and good base for touring the island. Would be much better if fly screens were on windows and doors in bedrooms as it got very warm at night (we visited in summer). We managed by keeping bedroom doors open and having the air con on overnight."
