"What a lovely home to stay in! Alain is a great host. While not a typical hotel, there were honestly more amenities available than other places I've stayed. The hotel was easy to find and breakfast was fantastic. We even got a tour of all the technology he has built into his home!"

"We really enjoyed this place. Room is quite small but in a cozy sort of way. We took the downstairs room with the terrace which meant that for most of the time we were sitting outside. Bed is very comfortable. What really makes the place is the owner who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome in a very unintrusive way. Also highly recommend her scrambled egg. Something that the listing doesn't make clear is that parking is really easy. The place is a hamlet with just 2 houses and the road...

"I arrived at the property quite late and was given my room key reasonably quickly but I got into the room to see that a skylight had been left open and the room was freezing. "Fantastic place to stay. Host very friendly and welcoming. Stayed in the mine. Very comfortable beds. Great shower and facilities. Warm pool and hot tub available to use. Continental breakfast was freshly cooked everyday and delicious. Secure car parking in very quiet area. Had use of the host’s garage so I could store my bike. "We arrived to check in and were told there was no availability. Having booked months in advance from Australia we weren’t impressed! We had paid in full upfront and had confirmation. We are still to hear back from hotels.com and no sign of a refund yet! Not happy"

"De passage, nous avons dormi à la bonne école. La nuit fut excellente dans un joli cocon très bien aménagé et décoré. La maîtresse des lieux nous a tenu compagnie pendant le petit déjeuner (avec d’excellentes confitures maison) et les échanges furent fort sympathiques. Nous étions les seuls et étions donc au calme parfait avec une très jolie vue sur la montagne !! Il y avait même un jacuzzi mais il était malheureusement fermé car le temps pluvieux ne s’y prêtait pas!"

"The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."
