"The property is beautiful and nestled into the trees, which made for a gorgeous winter setting. The bedding and bathrobes are luxurious and comfortable. "What a nice surprise! From the outside, the Sumac Chalet looked like a quaint little cabin tucked in the woods. But once inside the mix of finishes and furnishings were fun and inviting. There was even a SleepNumber bed just like at home and set it to 65 for a good night's sleep. First thing we did was hike the trail behind the cabin. Easy stroll through the forest ending at the shore at Roy's Marina. Other adventures included a ferry ride to Madeline Island to browse the galleries, eat...

"The cabin is cozy -- a lofted bedroom overlooks the living area above the ground-floor (private) room. The whole cabin is well-heated by the fireplace and, in warmer months, the porch looks like a lovely place to eat and relax. The cabin is located in a small neighborhood of similar cabins, all separated from each other by well-preserved woods, which keeps everything feeling quite private and natural. All in all, it's a great place and we enjoyed our stay!"

"Really good facility for our 10-member family. Many amenities. Great kitchen area with all necessary utensils and equipment. A lot of recreational equipment provided (kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) Only suggestion would be to replace king mattress in main floor bedroom (off-laundry) with a FIRMER one.
