"The hut was a small room but the outside bathroom was amazing. Unfortunately the day I arrived there was a huge storm and the power was off. It did come on for short periods so i could boil the kettle etc. A great setting, private and comfortable. Im pretty sure someone has put a squeaky toy under the mattress ☺️ Even without power I enjoyed my stay. Pet friendly."

"I loved that we were greeted on arrival. Kit was brilliant gave us information about where the tourists spots were and best way to get to them. Helpful in everyway. Best place i have ever stayed. The bed was so comfy that when you lay on it you just seem to melt into it."

"Mount View is a triumph - congratulations to the owners. Brilliant accommodation in every regard. Wonderful: house, decor, facilities, view and location. Top notch communication. A kitchen with every ingredient and equipment you could desire. A lovely garden area where you can take a bath under the stars. Wonderful Inn up the road that has great meals for every budget - from Wagu steak to fish and chips. Do yourself a great favour and make this a base or stop off point for exploring the Tarkine...

"Our Minnow Cabin was an eclectic and beautiful space. The wood work in the cabin is lovingly created and maintained. The whole cabin was very clean. With a full kitchen and very comfortable armchairs, it was a great place. The bathroom is tiny but the water is strong and hot. Its up some beautiful stone steps, definitely need the light at night. Also be aware there is NO signal for phone or laptop - if you need maps, make sure you save them offline or print them before going. We loved it...

"Really nice host and really appreciated the locally sourced groceries provided on arrival. Place was a bit stuffy and dusty but overall was a really nice place. Really liked that it had some history to it and that we had a field of sheep and alpaca right outside. "

Excellent location, comfortable bed

"Checked in for only one night. Catherine at reception was very helpful and cheerful. Stayed in a spa suite which was clean and spacious enough. Super comfortable King bed. Air con working nicely. Complimentary bottled water was appreciated. Excellent location for business or pleasure with free parking out back and easy access to room."
