"A perfect location for an overnight stay. We met up with our oldest grandson who lives two hours to the south of Merriville. Disappointed that there was no pool, not the grandchildren didn’t seem to mind. The complimentary “Happy Hour” was cancelled due to the holiday so that was a bit disappointing as well. The staff was exceptional and very welcoming to all of us. Overall the 7 of us had a comfortable stay at the hotel."

"Comfortable room and decent bed, but I was disappointed the prominent fireplace wasn't in working order. The room was also missing a coffee table by the couch. The walking trail outside was a nice touch, but the roar of the highway was a bit much. However, loved the restaurant -- both the ambience and the food!"

"The Inn is very nice. Rooms need some upgrading. Our bathroom ceiling had water damage from above us. The lighting was so dim, lighting needs an upgrade. We never tried the breakfast so I can’t comment on it. We were there during the Christmas holiday, so it was very quiet and empty. The speakeasy wasn’t open. The location doesn’t have a lot around it and there was construction on the road that the inn was located on. It was a bit difficult to find but once we did, it was okay. Had a...
