"Perfect little getaway that gives you the cabin feel while still being near stores and such. Stayed for 2 nights but wanted to stay longer! Check in was easy. Since it was good weather we were able to park right in front of the cabin. The fire pit was great (we grilled vegetarian sausage and s'mores over the fire)! The hosts were easy to get a hold of if needed. Bathroom facility, while in the basement of the main house, is close, easy to get to, and great! The sheep, goat, and chickens...

"The place was clean and I thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It was unclear in the listing that this was connected to another unit and I was glad that it was not rented at the time of our stay. There was construction happening the first two days of our stay, but as we were prepping for my best friend's wedding, it wasn't really an issue. The construction crew was super nice. "We loved this place and property. We stayed in the area to hike around CVNP and it was perfect. We got lucky and did not have any one else staying near the adjacent properties. We were able to see deer, turkeys, hawks, and a giant possum walking around the rental. The back porch was perfect to watch the sunrise while drinking a cup of coffee. "We enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy home away from home. We stayed on the main floor to be close to our 10 year old. "My son and I stayed here while in town to pick up a puppy. The home is updated and well apointed. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances were new. The backyard has a dog yard that is separated from the rest of the yard for folks that don't have dogs to enjoy. In the basement there is a washer/dryer as well as 2 dog crates and a basket of dog supplies, like a bed, towel, dishes and poop bags. I will totally stay again."
