Virginia Union University (VUU) is a historically black university located in Richmond, Virginia, United States. It took its present name in 1899 upon the merger of two older schools, Richmond Theological Institute and Wayland Seminary, each founded after the end of American Civil War by the American Baptist Home Mission Society. "Simply a beautiful spot on the James River with a great restaurant and live music. This is an older boat and boats are different than a house so keep that in mind if you havent been around boats. Ron is a wonderful host who is extremely responsive. He looks out for his guests and is full of wonderful stories. We'll be back!"

"We liked the coziness of the boat, the views of the river, the surrounding areas were beautiful. The only negative thing we could say was that due to the ran/wind the boat creaked and it made it hard to sleep for one of our nights."

"Our extended family of all ages plus one small dog greatly enjoyed our stay in this home! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, extra bathrooms, and a functional kitchen. The fenced-in back yard is perfect for pets and children. Street parking was easy and a nice playground at the end of the block and a small store a few blocks over were nice to have nearby. We would stay here again!"
