"This rental is beautifully decorated and is generously supplied with enough kitchen and bath necessities and good quality blankets, sheets, and towels to make a long-term stay very comfortable. The host was easy to reach, quickly responding to any questions or issues. Since I was staying here while trying to become more familiar with the Durham area, I appreciated the location, which is in a lovely and very walkable neighborhood with easy access to downtown Durham, grocery stores, local restaurants, and several parks. Because it met my needs well, I decided to extend my stay here, and I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family, when they come to visit. Two things to consider: there are a few wooden steps to climb to get to the back deck entrance, which might be an issue for some, if you have a lot to carry. Also, you will likely hear occasional footsteps and voices from the adjoining larger rental at the front of the house. However, the host tries to make guests on both sides aware of being considerate and quiet, especially overnight, and if there is any excessive noise, he will work to resolve it."
