"The Riverdale Inn is beautifully restored and there are some lovely rooms in the main house. We had one night in a pretty, spacious light room at the top of the house. Unfortunately our second and third nights were in “Lancaster, a premium double room” in a converted garage in a second building in the car park. It was dark and depressing (the only lights being two bedside lights, although the newly renovated bathroom was well lit). The furniture was well worn and the whole ambience was...

"This property has the absolute best location! Close to everything without being on top of it all. The greeting was kind and welcoming. The little touches made you feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was delicious along with the live music to add ambiance. The only knock was that our bed could have used a memory foam topper due to it being somewhat hard. "

"The property is gorgeous and really quiet. Being on the river provides a beautiful view. The sunrise over the river was absolutely fantastic. The complementary breakfast was extraordinary with a full menu being offered. All the staff were wonderfully helpful. It was a fantastic experience and wish I could have stayed longer. " Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a chair, but the room was small so we left it under a shelf. The breakfasts were remarkable. The owners were very nice. The location was great. We were told there were no steps to our room, however there was a total of 7. My husband has a disability and uses a scooter. The steps were a challenge. We had to leave the scooter in the car at night and assemble it each morning. If you go to sleep early, awesome music is playing...
