"What an amazing place with so any options. If it is cold there is a hot tub, fireplace or you can have a fire. If it is hot there is AC and lake activities available. Seating areas are abundant and if you want sun or shade, you can rotate with the sun. But it was all the small touches that made this place stand out as well, like herbs grown outside for people to use while cooking. We wanted for nothing, it was high end and absolutely a winner!"

"Lakeside Inn is a quiet property, not on the lake vut located close to Bon Echo. Rooms are basic but have been recently updated and our room was very clean. Bed was comfortable enough, a/c in room noisy but efficient. Mini fridge and microwave as well in our room was nice feature. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good place for a night or 2!"

"We honeymooned on Big Clear Lake 40 years ago and relived the dream by staying at "Dream on a Hill". The location was great, the property very well maintained and the accommodations thoroughly modern and clean! Our host Steve was prompt in answering any of our questions which were few because all we needed to know was laid out so well! A HUGE bargain for the price - 5 Stars!"

"This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. Everything you need is there, so not to worry if you forget something. Communication with Tim was great. 10/10 recommend, we will be back! (next with our ATVs/ORVs as the trails aren't too far away)"

"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. Great property for snowshoeing or long walks on quite road. The pool table was a hit as well. The host were a pleasure to deal with and check-in was easy."
