"Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."

"Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable. We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts. Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting. A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended. "

"Tau Game Lodge is a positive experience, but I do think things can be improved for the price of the booking. Its a perfect location for the Instagram fanatics and the social media hungry, so can be little frustrating when you just want to enjoy the experience and others just want to post it. James our guide was very good and accommodated our young son for him to experience the safari through a shorter trip, as the main safari trips are 3 hours twice per day.
