"The food at Baros is top notch. Breakfast was fantastic every day that I was there. I stayed in an overwater villa with great views. Snorkeling at the house reef gave way to views of wonderful underwater life. When I come back to Maldives, I will book this place without hesitation. As for the expedia option of pre-paying for dinner, don't. Just go a la cart and not feel obligated to eat at the same restaurant. It's priced such that you are getting the maximum priced items on the menu each...

"We had a wonderful 8 night stay in this luxury resort. The ocean villa was huge and had wonderful sunset views. We loved the large infinity pool on the main island, the snorkelling on the house reef where we saw stingrays and reef sharks, the variety of restaurants and the overall luxury feel of the resort."

"The Ocean Grand is a fabulous hotel. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The location is close to shopping and other services. The restaurant is rooftop with pool and an amazing view of the beach. The food is fresh and well seasoned and prepared. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The two people that were running the place weren’t very friendly and didn’t manage my stay very well. They were acting inappropriate with me personally While I was staying there. I paid one day for two extra days and one of the front desk workers asked me on my last night to pay an extra $60? I might’ve been scammed. They didn’t speak very good English. I read up on Google reviews about the hotel and they had other similar reviews. "
