"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. "We loved our stay at this cottage. The property was beyond beautiful, with many trails to discover. We hiked to Foley Mountain with breath tracking views, as well as a canoe ride just down the street, which Hermann provides you the canoe for a rental fee. Nothing bad to say, other than a private washroom would be preferred as we felt we had to be quiet while in there, and that the shower wasn't geared towards tall people, having showers as its a handheld shower hose with no curtain. "My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."
