"The location was great, we had an absolutely brilliant time. The bedrooms were cleaned and looked after well. The location are ideal for people wanting a relaxing holiday away from hustle and bustle or just to spend time on fishing, just few driving minutes to York. "

"Beautiful lodge. Clean, including the hot tub and sauna. Very close to local amenities. A little too close to building sites so not super quiet until after 7pm. After 7pm, a beautifully peaceful little area."

"Fantastic position, quiet, glimpses of the sea, a lovely chalet. Decorated well throughout, with good selection of kitchen Utensils. Beds and bedding very comfortable Shower was a bit tricky to get hot water, and nicer if towels were supplied. Visited in late October, used the fire to warm it through, and was comfortanle temperature for our stay. Kitchen is well equipped, but cooker position is awkward. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Overall, an excellent 2 night stay. "

"Me and my family absolutely loved this lodge, plenty of space, hottub was beautiful and the pool table table tennis dining table kept us entertained for hours. I would highly recommend to anyone. It made my birthday so much more special and we all loved it"
