"this was our 3rd time visiting & we are still going to come back again. its an old building with en suite bedrooms. rooms are comfortable, location is right on the harbourside. food is very good & breakfast is very good too. staff are out of this world. I wouldn't recommend for people with walking disabilities or are in a wheelchair. dogs are welcomed at this property. Laura & Kennedy are the names of 2 of the staff I can remember at the moment but the others are very good too. "

"The staff at Portreath Arms were welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. My only complaint is that the bacon was overcooked, but otherwise the breakfast was lovely."

"Staff were polite and helpful. Room was very dated and very small, but clean and comfortable. However the loud music coming from the bar below our room went on until 11 pm so if you want a quiet restful place to stay DO NOT CONSIDER this location."

"We booked this break on a whim, as it was my wife's birthday. I have to say it is an absolute gem of a place. We had booked a long weekend and from start to finish was sublime. The room was beautiful with amazing views of the bay. It was warm and comfortable, with a large bed and great facilities. The staff were always helpful and courteous regardless how busy they were. "Second time staying here. Nice quiet location but close to all the towns of Cornwall. My only little moan would be to have a king size rather than double bed in the main bedroom. Great facilities"

"Beach Haven is a lovely property in a quiet area about 10 minutes from Porthmeor beach (NB it takes longer to walk back as it's up a steep hill). Arrived to find a cream tea and milk in the fridge. Had a wonderful time. Thank you."

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
