"We decided to spend Christmas in Colorado for the first time. We are not used to snow since we rarely get any back home in Texas but Frank made sure we had everything we needed to deal with the weather. He also made sure we had everything else we needed and always answer our concerns in timely manner. He really made us feel like home and made our stay very confortable."

This is a great base camp for families with kids or without looking to head into some of the most beautiful country in the US. Check-in and check-out was easy, the property was clean and kid friendly. We’d stay again in a heartbeat."

"The cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was great. We were able to put some chili in a crockpot and leave for a fun day of driving through the mountains and site seeing. Being able to come back to a warm bowl of chili and a cozy cabin was magical. The host was great at communicating and quickly responded when we had an issue with the water heater. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay in a cool mountain setting. The cabin was clean with a functional kitchen that we used many times. The property was close to the town of Creede which we visited every day. We had a restful pleasant visit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The staff were so kind and competent. The rooms were very nice and had a lot of cool stuff for guests to use. Hammocks, coolers, walking sticks, bikes, and other things that would be useful. The hot tub and sauna area was very nice. They also had a great out door hangout area with fire pits and good chairs. I’ll definitely go back! "

Lovely Place

"I would highly recommend staying at this mini apartment. It was located in a very quiet area of Lake City. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed. Unfortunately, a blizzard was predicted for the area and we chose to leave after one night. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to stay for both of our nights. We would not hesitate to stay there again."
