A beautiful studio apartment located in the historic district of town. within walking distance of town park, shopping, restaurants, bars, our amazing local brew pub and amusements. Pleasant comfortable accommodations with a Queen size bed, an additional murphy bed, bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a small fenced in area in case you enjoy traveling with your dog. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Cute place with a great location
I loved my stay at this sweet little studio. Everything was in place to cook meals, do laundry, and have a comfortable nights rest. I traveled with my mini dachshunds and was very appreciative for a location allowing pets and nice fended yard. Super easy check in and check out process. Jim was a great host. I will definitely stay again.

Studio -music weekend
Great place for our stay with the dog. Close to everything we needed including exploring the town and water access to the river and parks. The Gowdys went way out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Provided pointers as to places to see and directions. We are planning to return next year as Wife played in the band for the first time this year. Great get-away.

Cute little space in a great location in Lake City
Yard was perfect for our dogs. Small, but workable. The glow in the dark rocks and lighting were an adorable touch at night! Great for outdoor hanging. Murphy bed very old fashioned but cool, mostly comfortable for one person, if a little short. Loved our first visit to Lake City.

Very small but efficient. Suggestion: Lose the nightstand by the bed and replace it with another standing lamp (like the other one there) and put in a small easy chair or recliner. Otherwise had everything we needed except a view--just due to the property location.

Nice Visit
First visit to Lake City and enjoyed ourselves due in a large part to the lodging. It was very comfortable and clean. The amenities including washer and dryer made for a nice stay. The only challenge we had was with the volume on the TV. We could barely hear it and there were no volume controls on the remotes. Other than that, highly recommend!!!

Lovely studio, responsive owners
This is a terrific, perfectly located (walk-to-everything) stand-alone studio. My husband and I stayed for five nights and had everything we needed to be self-sustaining. The kitchen area is well stocked, and what very few items we could not find, the owners brought to us virtually instantly. Dana and Jim Gowdy are friendly and extremely responsive hosts, and I recommend this and all of their Lake City properties (for bigger parties, see Gowdy Manor, which shares a yard with the studio and the two can make a nice dual-rental) and the Bonnie Rose. They're all wonderful ways to enjoy Lake City!

Fall getaway
Our 7yo and us enjoyed our stay. We didn’t spend much time at the studio other than for dinner and evening time. Perfect location to walk the river and to restaurants. We had our mini bernadoodle with us as well and the small yard was good for night time potty breaks.
