"We had an excellent stay in the Conrad Beijing. It’s well worth the price, and everything was pretty affordable for someone from England (the same hotel in London would be over £3,000 for eight nights, as opposed to around £1,000 in Beijing!) Even the minibar was cheap - a coke was £1, compared to €15 in Croatia. "The location is very central. It's right next to a subway station, just a few blocks way from the Tiananmen square and within walking distance from the Forbidden city. The staff, Lucky, James and Amber are very helpful and nice. However, the TVs are small, shower drain and hinge were a bit rusty, the heater was not controlable, and light switches were not labeled. Overall, it's really good for the price "
