Off the grid and beaten track
Our 1900’s recently relocated farm cottage is ideal for people wanting to escape. Off the beaten track up the Northbank valley, fully solar powered, water from freshwater spring, no cell phone service. The setting is peaceful, secluded and you can sit back and view the sun rises & sun sets. The Wairau River is 5 min walk away, and we are located near national parks, and a hour from town from Blenheim

Lovely comfortable warm home. Welcoming touch of fresh eggs and milk. Felt at home being on the farm. Enjoyed the company of horses nearby with a 5 minute walk to the Wairau river. Lots of close walks nearby. A hidden treasure. Love to come back.
If you want a break away from everything, this is the place. Simple, peaceful, time and space. Take everything with you and you won't need to stress over shops, traffic, people! We had the most restful time here and I decorated the house with large bunches of wild flowers. On cold days the log burner was great and we collected kindling from nearby. Friendly horses and Kuni pigs with their babies were so gorgeous! Comfy beds and great shower. Will definitely come to stay again.
My husband and I stayed for two nights at the end of our holiday picking it because of proximity to the interislander in Picton.
We loved the old quirkiness of the house, the absolute peace and quiet (apart from the rooster at 5am) and the horses dogs and pigs that shared our weekend.
Very quiet and relaxing place, friendly owner, lots of animals. Not a big farm, but access to the riverbed and nearby walking tracks. This would be great with kids or just to unwind.
We had a very good stay at the house, Anna was lovely the location and house are lovely too, perfect to disconnect from the world and connect with nature
