Enjoy a winter getaway at our recently restored - and extremely authentic - square timber cabin located immediately on Highway 60, in Eganville, at the very heart of Snow Country!
Please, do not be fooled by the very convenient location; after business hours this cabin feels like it is back in the woods. Very secluded!
To all you sledders out there, you have found a sledding paradise. In every sense of the word. There is no more ideal location in all of Renfrew County to enjoy your passion! Jump onto the snow trails directly from your backdoor. 1000's of kms of trails await without you ever needing your truck and trailer to get there. Simply step off our massive covered deck, and onto your machine, and away you go. See the trail map for more info!
And when your sleddin' day is done, a warm home awaits, not just for you, but also for your wet and cold gear. Our covered deck is massive and will provide all the space needed to get your gear ready for the next adventure.
BIG bonus! Check out the attached satellite map. That's right...you can watch the Bonnechere Cup right from your backdoor. Or make your way over to the Eganville Sno-Drifter's Clubhouse, and enjoy a beer with other passionate sledders.
There is no rival in all of Renfrew County. Eganville Cabin is a spectacular location at which to enjoy and experience your passion for sleddin'.
Still, if sleddin' is not your thing, the area is rich with all manner of winter activities to experience and enjoy. Just 30 minutes drive through some wonderful country you will find downhill skiing at Calabogie Peaks Resort. Even closer are many lakes and rivers, including the Ottawa River, where you can try your hand at ice fishing. And if it is winter solitude you are after, walk 5 minutes in any direction on snow shoes and you will find a secluded winter paradise among the towering pines and shimmering spruces.
Eganville Cabin sleeps 4 comfortably, but could easily be expanded to accommodate several more friends and family. Just get cozy!
And don't worry about forgetting to pack food for the trip...Foodland is right next door, where you can get anything you need. Including prepared meals, for those days when you just want to be lazy in the warm cabin.
Also handy to our cabin in the woods is the Beer Store (just a walk down the road), LCBO (just a little further down the road), and if you need a helping hand with your sled, just visit the awesome staff at Castle (across the street) and discover their extremely knowledgeable and friendly small engine repair staff.
Congratulations! You found the location for your perfect winter vacation getaway. Look forward to hearing from you.
Guests have access to the entire 1.5 acre property.
