"My wife and I are devoted grandparents and are loving this stage of life. That said we still an occasional getaway to recharge (grandparent batteries drain much quicker 😜) We love Guntersville for the small town ambience and non tourist trap setting. However we could never find that spot that offered the peace and tranquility that was so needed. Until now! Lake views and screened in deck, 3 bedrooms.and comfortable furniture ( a big issue with many VRBO's.) I just can't say enough about how...

"We were in the area for a family Thanksgiving so we didn't spend much time at the house; however, it was remodeled and decorated beautifully with a wonderful deck and view of the river. Water pressure in the showers was fairly low for those who that may matter to. "

"The porch was lovely for gathering but the cushions were dirty. Not terrible, just distracting from the otherwise welcoming room. The dishwasher was falling apart and ultimately stopped working. A bother! Would we stay here again? Yes with the assurances that all appliances were working. The waterside view was a joy. For TV fans, there are 6 TV’s, but no reading lights in the upstairs bedrooms. "

"We needed a central location for a family wedding and this house served that purpose. We loved the close proximity to downtown Huntsville events, eateries, shops, etc. the house was certainly large enough for our group (which was a party of 6). In terms of home amenities, this house had standard items for our stay and everything was in working order. Beds were comfortable and the A/C made the heat/mugginess of Alabama in May bearable. "We enjoyed our stay celebrating Family Thanksgiving 2024. Last year, we visited DC during our Thanksgiving celebration; my grandchildren -ages 4-22 years- said they enjoyed this trip better than staying at Embassy Suites. This home was everything and more. We were able to do several activities with plenty of room for everyone. The home was equipped with ALL things we needed and more. We will visit this beautiful cabin again. Kevin was an absolute delight and helpful. Thank yoy!"
