We were married on the dock, roasted smores by fire pit, and enjoyed the quiet nights away from civilization. Other perks: the bathroom vanity and heated bathroom, tall mirrored closet in master bedroom that was high enough to hang the wedding dress without it touching the floor, large windows in the family room to view the lake, and fully equipped kitchen. "We love the Koi Story Cabin. We were there for the Cyclone Bomb this year. No electricity for 4 days. The staff was amazing! They had us hooked up to a generator and the fire place kept us warm! We communicated with Elena, Ian and Sergei. They were so helpful and worked with our schedule. A delightful place to stay!"

"We absolutely loved this little home. It had breathtaking views that made you feel far from everything even though you're just in a typical suburb. The house is old and it's obvious, but that adds to the rustic charm. You can tell the owner loves it. There are kayaks and firewood in the garage and some basic kitchen essentials. The outdoor space is the perfect place to eat and play games together. Enjoyed picking blackberries, watching the wildlife, making smores at the fire pit, and playing outdoor games. We took our paddleboards a two minute drive away…just perfect!"
