"This property abd location is absolutely unique and is ‘bucket list material’ for sure. The small appartment has excellent hotel standard and the view from the room is breathtaking. On top og that, the whole concept of living in the once abandoned and now revigorated, small and beautiful village, Pentidattilo, is a great experience! The service is superb! "The beach is nice and clean but the hotel close it for guest use from 8 pm to 7 am The property condition is poor - broken tile, outdated furniture, broken bathroom fixtures, no safe in the room, etc. At arrival I had to wait one hour before they check in a large group of guests. I did not leave valuables in the room but some of the guests reported stolen personal items from the room.The location is very suburban far away from major airpot Transportation options are limited and very expensive at...

"In realtà non potrei fare una recensione sul hotel Stella Marina.. in quanto al nostro arrivo ci è stato detto che la struttura era chiusa da giugno. Siamo stati dirottati presso un’altra struttura a “soli” 1500 metri dalla spiaggia. Quest’ultima lasciava molto a desiderare sui vari servizi ( pulizia, colazione, acqua poca è ghiacciata..). "Great hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. High recommend anyone who is looking to take the ferry to Messina the hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry option. Metro is close by for further discovery of the city. Hotel staff willing to assist and recommend. Outstanding crew!"

"Once you got beyond the entrance which is not that inviting you were treated to a most comfortable room, very modern and very well appointed. The bathroom is modern and very efficient. The smart tv gives you lots of options. You can log in to Netflix if you have an account (remember your password). Outside the bedroom is a very nice common area supplied with tea and coffee. Upstairs is a lively huge terrace decorated with plants and a comfortable sitting area. There’s a view of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast is at a bar/cafe a very short walk away. The staff there are most accommodating. You can take away your coffee and cornetti if you prefer. The only disadvantage is the 5 mints walk away from the pedestrian area which certainly wouldn’t be a problem for younger people. Be sure to be in touch with the owner ahead of time to let them know your arrival time. There’s no staff at the site. They will meet you there."
