"I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and serene atmosphere. While the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, they are well-kept and comfortable. One suggestion for improvement would be to update the carpets to eliminate any lingering old carpet smell. Keep in mind that the hotel's location may not be the most convenient; getting around requires a bike or taxi. "Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. The room was very adequate and we really enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Next day we needed to check out early to be able to return our rental...

"Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "

"It was a beautiful apartment in the city centre. It was a well equipped kitchen with all utilities we as a family needed. Nice furniture and the beds were comfortable. There was a TV with many channels. Clean bathroom with a shower and many fluffy towels. The service we received from the staff when we checked in was very useful. We could also park the car in the back of the hotel for a smaller payment."
