Very clean cosy cabin, nice there was no tv except dvd. Did not mind at all. Nice walks around the property, lots of hiking trails with in a close drive. Great place relax!

Impressive getaway property

The Rock rocked!
Such a gorgeous little property! Booked in last minute and was so happy we did! Will for sure be visiting again and sharing our wonderful experience! We had everything we needed and then some! Checking was flawless and we loved the little extras (games, movie options, fire wood stacked and ready)!

Everything was great. Cabin very clean and well equipped. Seen lots of birds/deer within eyesight and a black bear 70 km east. Hosts were friendly and cared about our well being!

Great spot to enjoy Nordegg and surroundings
The cabin has everything that is needed to come back after a full day exploring Nordegg’s fantastic adventures and relax. The system in place to refill supplies is smooth and effective. The bed and couch were softer than what we are used to so we felt it after the third night, but it shouldn’t be a problem for soft bed sleepers.

This was our second annual weekend getaway and we have found our happy place to be just us two girls. We really enjoyed our weekend in The Rock! The solitude was so nice and the well marked trails offered a pleasant walk. We will be back! !being willback!

Our stay here surpassed our expectations. A beautiful location close to beautiful walking/ biking trails, beautiful lakes and falls. The cabin was cozy, very clean and had everything needed to cook meals. We would highly recommend and we hope to come back for another stay.

Perfect getaway!
We loved our stay at the Rock! The cabin was even better than the photos online. This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway with nature and adventures right outside our door. We loved the privacy of the cabin and all the deer we spotted in the area. There were so many lakes, waterfalls and great hikes only minutes away. We can’t wait to return!

Property has it all and more
Our experience was great! The cabins were even better than anticipated. Everything was thought out to the detail. The firewood restocking was such a nice touch as well. Jodi is very nice and easy to communicate with. The only thing I wish the property had was more privacy from the other neighbouring cabins (as seen in picture). There are very few trees in between and cabins are quite close together. We had a noisy one year old and felt pretty bad for our neighbours.

Great place to stay!
We loved our stay at the cottage. The hosts do such a great job of supplying all the amenities you might need, including salt, pepper, coffee/coffeemaker, toaster, etc. (We stayed in The Rock with a full kitchen.) The only drawback was the uncomfortable pull-out couch, but to be fair, I've never had a good sleep on any pull-out couch so I expected it to be uncomfortable. :) The location is great too. You don't need to drive far from the cabins to access amazing mountain views, waterfalls, lakes, etc. We didn't even go to Jasper or Banff because the surrounding area has more than enough to offer. And it wasn't at all crowded. Many thanks.

Perfect little home away from home.
Rented The Rock for a 2 night getaway. It's exactly as the website says, just bring your food and clothes and enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked, however I forgot any condiments/oil/butter but thankfully didn't bring much food that needed it. The bed was super comfortable and I was happily surprised when I came across the chocolates on the pillows. The location is easy to find and not far from town if you needed to run in for anything. The owner was very nice and helpful and even highlight out trails on a map for me to go snowshoeing. I will definitely be back and will recommend this establishment to my friends/family.
