"Our 2nd stop on this trip to Greece, was Almyrida at Villa Varvara. Outstanding clean private local and accessible. We found it to be a great base for exploring the west side of Crete. the local shops and eateries near the property were just what we wanted small local excellent fare. "House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

"We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! It is a beautifully built villa in a stunning location with views of the White Mountains on one side and views down to Souda Bay and there are plenty of places at the property to sit and enjoy sunrise or sunset. "I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of...

" A lovely villa with excellent facilities. The downstairs living, dining & kitchen area is very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. The outside areas are vast , including a BBQ area, which we used several times and a pizza oven which we did not try. The swimming pool is lovely, possibly one of the nicest pools we have had.
