"The staff were amazing! They greeted us and helped us with our luggage as we were taken to our room. We had a clear view of mt Fuji on our first day as the sky was clear. We had the meat shabu for dinner and it was such a vibe and was definitely worth it. Don’t get the red wine broth shabu tho. It’s an acquired taste. We also ate breakfast at the restaurant available. It was a hike but I think you can call the hotel van to take you up there. the restaurant food selection was ok. The pumpkin soup was the only thing that we liked. On our second morning, we ordered the breakfast bread box which had soup, bread, chicken salad and coffee and rlly hit the spot before we had to check out of our rooms. "

You cannot beat them for comfort, service, meals, mountain view and the quality of everything they provide. I absolutely loved my stay here and felt like I was a traditional Japanese hotel along with all the 5 star service provided. Cannot recommend it enough and I will return when I visit Japan next. "Beautiful view of Mount Fuji for the hotel room and rooftop. Very unique (traditional Japanese style). Far from other tourist attractions but the bus stop is right outside the hotel, so that was super convenient. The view makes it worth it. "

"This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. It is located in the remote area and it’s inconvenient for shopping, etc. However, it is an advantage for people who want to avoid the hassle of overtourism in the Mt. Fuji area. The room was newly renovated and the bedding was very comfortable. We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but they have a fridge in the room, so we brought our food and had cozy time enjoying the view of Mt.Fuji from our window. "
