"Quite peaceful place"

"Horrible service. We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. When we arrived they did not want to give us our room keys because they said they did not receive payment. We spoke to the 2 girls working there, which was very unproffesional eating chips and handling our phones without any sanitation etc, we showed them proof of payment,...

"Gardens are lovely. Rooms are getting “tired.” Howard the gentleman there was very helpful. Checkout was slow and tedious, my bill was not ready despite us having a late checkout. We have stayed here before and loved it, but this time we could notice a deterioration. "

"Upon arrival they did not have any record of my reservation however they did honor it once I showed my receipt. Called for airport transport but no answer. Took taxi (more expensive) to the locked gate. Proceeded around the corner and waited at a coffee house until they answered the phone. Once there however they were very pleasant and accommodating. "

"This was such a good find. It is like an oasis close to the city. The photos do not do it justice - the grounds and rooms are very nice. The staff are also very accommodating and friendly. Charlotte is super sweet and helpful- it felt like visiting family. Would highly recommend."
