"Location was perfect, able to walk to all main sites, hotel just off main market square and canal with boat trips 1 min away. Staff at hotel excellent. Only minus if staying in guest house is there are no lifts and two flights of stairs but rooms are lovely."

"We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book. "

"On first impressions the property seemed ok but on further inspection it was dirty and strange in the way it was managed. We would not return to this property as security is a big issue. "

"What a wonderful place to stay! In great walking distance from the bustling centre of Bruges but in the old town so a lovely and quiet base to return to after a busy day of shopping and indulging. Sofie was an amazing host, offering the best recommendations and very attentive in making sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was really special. We had plenty of space in our room and even had a smaller room joining in which we kept our luggage and our travel cot when our baby napped. The host was lovely and so helpful. "The owners were very friendly and the yurt is located on a beautiful site. Despite our being very cold (below zero) and only a tiny heater in the yurt, it was very warm thanks to all the insulation. Great adventure!!!"

"First off, our host, Bernard met us at the train station and drove us to the property which was conveniently located next to the park. We fell in love with the house the minute we saw it. "La Maison Bruges is amazing! The rooms are beautiful, the owners are kind, the breakfast is delicious and so beautifully presented. You are in walking distance to just about everything in town and very close to the bus stop. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! "

Brot, Brötchen, süße Teilchen, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Rührei, Speck, Gekochtes Ei, Obst, Müsli, Joghurt, Kaffee, Tee und Saft. Das Personal war von herzen sehr freundlich - keine gespielte Freundlichkeit :) - Das Haus und die Umgebung waren traumhaft schön. "Good facilities, good size for 6 people supermarket 5 minute walk away. Spa and pool excellent the kids loved it, well equipped kitchen. The only problem was the smoke detectors are very sensitive, there's one on the bathroom which was triggered by steam from the shower and one was set off by spray deodorant, so security show up and say there's a problem and you have to open the balcony door, not ideal in winter. Overall a good stay."

Great Hotel, perfect location and large rooms

"Another fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza in Bruges. I’ve stayed here before a few times and the hotel is very central. I really like the hotels underground car parking as I can park my car and leave it feeling it’s in a safe place. Bruges is a beautiful city and especially so at Christmas with the markets etc. The hotel is clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, shower is excellent and bar is good too. Thanks for a great stay … I shall be back! "

Dukes’ Academie – by Dukes’ Hotel Collection

"We stayed in a three bed room which was clean, spacious and well equipped with toiletries. The decor was fresh, the staff welcoming and all within an easy walk of the station. The bar was slightly limited with offerings but the hot drinks were presented nicely and made for a nice treat at the end of the day. Would highly recommend "

Beautiful hotel

"One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Then when checking in online, we were asked to pay an extra price for a cot. That's like paying for an adult to stay in a hotel, then asking them to pay for their bed. The cot should be included, if the infant has already been paid for. We made do with our bassinet pram instead. "
