"Nice, no-frills hotel in a great location. Rooms are fairly basic, but they are clean and functional and fine for a typical vacation stay in a place like Cologne. Only problem is that there were some ceiling tiles that need replacing. And don't expect any extra room in the bathroom. The breakfast was good and well worth it. Hosts and managers were helpful and communicative. And the location is ideal for exploring Cologne. 15 minute walk to Cathedral, and easy access to a large pedestrian shopping area. It's on a quiet side street so noise was not a factor. 5-star rating earned. "

"Great location. 15 mins walk from Koln mainline station, cathedral and the main shopping areas. Modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We opted out of breakfast so cannot comment. My bed was harder than I'd prefer, but I was only there for 2 nights. My roommate felt it was ok however. "

"It was a great location close to the old city and an easy walk to the cathedral. Lots of ahops and christmas markets around. The pool was good as well as the sauna. "
