Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . "We visited here on a 2 week winter trip to Germany. Front desk staff was friendly and enthusiastic. They greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was especially spectacular! This hotel was the unanimous favorite of our family. On top of that, Rothenburg ob der Tauber was super cool. We loved it here and wanted to come back and stay longer."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Glocke. Its a very unique building and tactfully decorated. The room was spacious. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is a huge bonus point. Just a 2 min stroll up the street and you are in the main square area. We repent for not staying for more than one night at the Glocke. "

"Good location on the edge of the old town, right near the wall. Safe and convenient. Rooms were decent, clean enough, pretty basic. Staff was not friendly nor helpful, unwilling to give us basic space for our family to gather outside our rooms (3 rooms for 4 nights, thought that might warrant using an empty table in an empty room of the restaurant, but not allowed even when restaurant empty). "The stay was comfortable and quiet. I did not use the spa, as I arrived pretty late for my one night stay, but the facility looked very inviting. My only less than stellar note to this property is the lack of an air conditioning system. It was a stuffy summer night and so I needed to have the window open. One or several of my neighbors had a smoking habit which seemed to keep them smoking outside their room all night and into the morning and that smoke consistently entered my room."

"This is a brand new property, very contemporary with comfy, inviting common areas, bar, and terrace with fire tables. Our room was very large, comfortable and met our every need. Located just outside of the walls of Dinkelsbuehl, about a 10 minute walk, it's a perfect location."

"This hotel sits right at the “Kurpark” in Bad Mergentheim. Many of the neighbors are specialty clinics helping people with various illnesses. The quietness and easy pace of the locale is expressed in the hotel as well. The property is well maintained and the personnel is friendly and effective. The breakfast buffet is really good. I heartily recommend this hotel!"

"Great breakfast. Clean. Only complaint: other residents sat outside very late and talked so we had to shut our window and then moved inside and sat in chairs in the hallway of our floor. The sound was pretty bad."

If you want to experience living in this town but still have modern amenities this is the place! Jennifer, a host, and her staff are exceptionally attentive, welcoming and friendly people.
