Hop over to The Lily Pad for a perfect weekend getaway in Niagara-on-the-Lake - the location is one of THE BEST! This is a picture perfect place to relax. Our home is situated on a quiet street, lined with beautiful historic homes. The Queen's Royal Park (the infamous gazebo) right on Lake Ontario is less than a block away and the bustling Queen Street is also one block away. A short walk or bike ride takes you to your choice of local wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops, and other sites and attractions. Please ask us for additional information or recommendations!

Built in 1930, the home has been in the family for over 60 years (4 generations). With a fire place in the spacious living room, it is a charming and cozy home for couples, families and friends. All beds are fitted with luxurious linens and bedding, and towels are supplied to listed guests.

Cozy up with a complimentary cup of coffee or glass of wine on the back patio overlooking the luscious garden or on the front deck overlooking the lake before heading out on a bike (also complimentary!) to tour the town. Additionally, a new profane fire table is available for guests use on the back patio with comfortable cushioned seating.

Lovely little spot, very cosy. Nice for a small family. Loved the complimentary bottle of wine, lots of nice touches that made it a very comfortable stay. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend and return!

The ultimate central location for a visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake - just a couple minutes’ walk one way to the heart of shopping and restaurants, and to the lake in the other direction. The cottage is cozy, and love the long history of it.

Small, but well located
House is small, with two bedrooms, all on a single level. Location is ideal. The one bathroom is in the kitchen and is very tight, but it works.

This cozy cottage style property was an amazing experience for myself, my wife and daughter. The location is in walking distance of everything you need, and the house was very clean and tidy. Self check in was a breeze and the owners were very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

Cute little house close to downtown
We really enjoyed staying at the Lily Pad. It is a lovely little house in a great location - close to downtown and the lake. Corey and Alicia were very friendly and accommodating, and provided very clear instructions for the house. I would recommend staying at the Lily Pad to anyone.

A very pleasant little house, quick walk to downtown NOTL, theater district, restaurants. Prepare yourself for a tiny bathroom to serve all guests. Plenty of hot water but close quarters.

Perfect location in a perfect town
We spent two nights at The Lily Pad with our children, aged 9 and 11. We had never been to Niagara on the Lake before and were blown away by the beauty of the town as we drove in. The location of the house was perfect.. just off the main road with its endless selection of restaurants, and one block from the lake which is just stunning. We will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family and hope up return in the near future as well.

The Gem of NOTL!
This was the perfect place. It has everything you could need for a get away. The location was perfect. You can see it from the front porch. Queen street is a block away to all the amazing shops and restaurants. Will come again. Highly recommend it.

Amazing location!!!!
We had a GREAT time at The Lily Pad! The owners were INCREDIBLY nice and accommodating! The location just cannot be beat! You're literally walking distance from the little town and the lake! We came with little kids and there was a beach, rocks, the lake, a playground, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance! The bedrooms are small, but we didn't spend much time in them! Just to sleep. The backyard was amazing for laying around, having breakfast, and just relaxing! Thanks Lily Pad!

Relaxing get-a-way
The Lilly Pad is in an outstanding location for enjoying all that Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer! Easy walk to almost anywhere, and the bikes provided were an enjoyable “plus!” The cottage was very clean, and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom situation was less than ideal. It is very small, and right off the kitchen (which doesn’t offer much privacy!) Outdoor spaces were adequate, but could benefit from a little “sprucing up!” But even with the a few shortcomings, the Lilly Pad provided a lovely home base for our stay at NOTL!!

Wedding weekend
My siblings and our partners had a lovely time staying in this home, its quite small (we were 7 adults) but it is very cute and very functional. We were very comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay as well as to prepare for the wedding we were attending during our stay we were even able to walk to both the church and the wedding venue, and enjoy the sights of NOTL due to the very good location the super-long driveway was also very convenient as we had arrived in several cars overall we had a really lovely seamless stay, and would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to see NOTL for a more affordable price than many of the other local rentals and hotels

Great location and porch!
Positives: The house was very cute and clean. It was in a great location. Sitting on the front porch watching the world go by is wonderful. Negatives: As other reviews stated, the bathroom is tiny. My 6’3” husband had difficulty navigating. To get to the bathroom you have to cross the living room and go through the kitchen. Not ideal. The shower and outside of the house need attention.

Parked at the Lily Pad and walk everywhere in the village, what a pleasure. Easy, and beautiful, walking to both the Shaw Festival Theater and the Royal George. Walking on the main street OR in the beautiful neighborhood and park around the Lily Pad was great. The Lily Pad is not just a great location it is clean, the neighborhood was quiet, the hosts have bicycles available, beautiful backyard to sit in, also a comfy front porch for relaxing and a full kitchen. Very nice and comfy cottage. First time I used anything other than a hotel, this beats a hotel for comfort and space to relax and enjoy. The hosts where very good with communicating and everything is just as it is presented online, no surprises. We ate every meal in the village, three guys, three meals a day (and snacking) several restaurants, each meal/snack was great. The shop and restaurant staff we interacted with were great. Wonderful village, great shows, great place to stay.
