Welcome to the best location in the heart of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Bissell Cottage is only five blocks from shopping and dining on historic Queen Street, minutes away from spectacular lakefront views where Lake Ontario and the Niagara River meet, and we're only one block from the best walking/riding trails in NOTL. We have all the amenities to make your ladies weekends, family celebrations, or getaways affordable, enjoyable, and memorable. The Wine tour companies will pick you up, and drop you off, and everything else is within walking distance. Everyone says we're the best kept secret in NOTL.

Lovely small house
Place has everything you’ll need even for a longer stay. Hope to return next year. Very clean, good air conditioning, comfortable bed, nice shower. Friendly landlord lives nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was so convenient for walking or biking into the main town! The whole area is beautiful! The house is small but very cozy and very well appointed! Communication with Roland was great! Look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely Excellent
I rented this property with my mom and sister for a girls weekend and could not be happier with the experience. The house was exactly what we needed and was clean and beautiful. You can tell the care that was put into maintaining this property. Roland, the owner, lives next door and was very kind and accommodating. The house was equipped with all the day to day items we needed including special touches for protein bars, coffee, creamer, and a fridge full of water. We will absolutely be coming back for future trips.

Great Spot
We had an amazing time in NOTL! Was a great spot to stay in town but gave us enough space to spread out but close enough to everything. Great neighborhood, close to all the action and walking distance to downtown. Roland was a great host. We didn’t stay long but house and grounds were welcoming and Roland was always in touch if we needed anything. Wish we could have staying longer! We would love to come back!

Wonderful place!
My husband and I stayed at Roland’s place for a mini getaway. It was in the perfect location and very close to the town and shops, we even walked to dinner one night! Roland is so nice and left us some things to make us feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here and we hope to be back when the weather is warmer!

Wonderful place to stay in Niagara on the Lake
Our host Roland thought of all details we would need for our weekend girls get away! We appreciated the bottled water in the refrigerator, snacks to cords to charge a variety of electronic devices and flowers and welcome greeting upon arrival . The location Is an easy 15 minutes from downtown and 2 minute walk to Pillar and Post. Highly recommend!

Tranquil stay in NOTL
A small group of us (two couples) had a great relaxing weekend as we attended an Aston Martin event in NOTL. The property was exactly as advertised and our host was so welcoming and hospitable. Girl's Getaway
We could not have loved this house more! Check-in was easy and the place was spotless and well equipped with not only the basics but some extras in the kitchen such as water, coffee, tea, spices, olive oil and snacks. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough towels for everyone. Location is great, a short walk to everything. We are already talking about our next visit!

The Host Has Thought of Everything
We loved our stay at Roland’s property. It was immaculate, well located, and truly had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked and little touches, like a phone charger, were so appreciated. Roland was a great communicator and very kind to allow us to check-in early since the property was free. Perfect Cosy Cottage
Roland's property is a perfect little retreat! Ridiculously clean and neat, and with so many thoughtful touches (Creamers! USB-C and Lightning charging cables!!) Great communication with our host, too. We can't say enough good things about our stay. Our one regret was that in November, the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the large front and back decks.
