The communication with the property owner was great, however when we arrived at the home it was obvious that this is strictly an income property and there’s little care to the maintenance and upkeep of the home, there were also many essentials missing in the home (ie: salt/pepper, baking sheet, bottle opener, can opener, plunger). The soap dispensers in the bathrooms were also full of water, not soap. The walls were marked up everywhere you looked and they were only primed, not painted. The towel bars in the bathrooms were barely attached to the walls, and the one in the ensuite had been completely ripped off the wall previously leaving two really bad patch jobs, and the curtain rod in the one bedroom was held on by one tiny screw (no anchors) and it fell from the wall during our stay. Two of the plastic vent covers upstairs were completely wrecked, it looked like someone put their foot right through them at one point.
We also spent our stay without a coffee maker because an old filter with VERY old grounds was left in it and was FULL of mold which spread all over the lid and basket. It was disgusting! Luckily Tim’s was right there so we didn’t have to go without.
The beds were firm but comfy and the wifi was really good. The curtains let a fair amount of light in upstairs but it wasn’t so bad that I needed a sleep mask.
Generally speaking, having a 3 bedroom house with a washer and dryer in a decent area was great for our family of 5 but I would not stay there again.
