"This is a great place to visit as a group each unit has a kitchenette and theres bbqs outside each room with tables and chairs outside great for big cook up with friends , theres a few supermarkets for buying meat etc or take it with you if going from NZ, , lots of local places to walk to for food or hire a car/vans so easy to drive around and cars arent expensive just look around for prices, rent from somewhere local to where your staying nornally cheaper than airport, "

"We enjoyed our stay and found the property to be above our expections. Communication was good and we were met onsite by the Property Manager who was lovely. A car or scooter is useful for this property as it is up a steep hillside. Overall, fantastic value for money and in a great location to explore all the area has to offer."

"The whole experience was absolutely amazing, fron the moment we arrived and was greeted by Grace both her and all the staff from hospitality to facilities maintenance could not have been better, we were treated like royalty! When i had an accident whilst there they made sure transport was hand for meattend all my health and dental appontments with the catering team even cooking me off menu meals aa i was struggling to eat, I cannot praise the resort and the Staff highly enough."

"What a special place! We absolutely love our stay here. The owner and his wife did everything possible to make it special and to help us out with all our questions. Elaine is just outstanding at her job and she is the main point of contact - so thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly - all her recommendations were spot on! We could not have asked for a better experience. The design of the villas is really outstanding with enough space between the villas and a smart angled design to ensure quiet and privacy. I wish we could have stayed longer. This place is an excellent value and the massages are excellent, very affordable and 75 minutes long! The restaurant and tapas bar at the end of the pool is outstanding. When we were there they were working on a deck that soon will further enhance the space available to view the ocean while you enjoy a drink and a meal. And then there is the salt water pool. How great is that? Water pumped daily straight from the ocean so no chemicals like chlorine in this pool!!! The coffee place up the street is wonderful. What a great little place to relax. I just hope they have room for the next time we want to come. We have NEVER been happier with any place we have stayed!!!"

"We loved our stay at Te Vakaroa! We had an upstairs two bedroom villa with an awesome view across the lagoon to the ocean… walk out the front past the pool and your on the sand and swimming! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs, another toilet down stairs with a washer and dryer.. big lounge area and balcony.. right next door to the sailing club with cafe bar… a short walk to the pacific resort or nautilus where we went for food and cocktails… Awesome location and we are booking again for next year, loved it!"

"I loved this resort and would go there again. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and always had a smile on their face. Everything we needed was provided including bikes to ride around the island, snorkels, reef shoes, pool noodles, canoes, filtered water, and free wifi. The Day Spa massage was tranquil and relaxing and the pool in the villa was great! "
