"Had a wonderful stay at Pacific resort! First and foremost, The staff is just amazing. They would always help if you need anything. They offered us early check in and check out and we are free to use their facilities before our check out. The breakfast is great! Lots of options. The kayaking is fun and there is swimming pool. There is area for kids to play. The location is perfect. Lots to do within walking distance. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rarotonga!"

"A nice and quiet place with family and adult rooms in different parts of the resort. The service was exceptional. We were supposed to check-out the next day and went for a day cruise so we requested to leave the luggages with the resort first and have them picked up later. We are glad that the resort staff went the extra mile and helped us brought our luggages over to the next place we booked for the night! A big thank you to the staff of Muri Beach Resort!!! "

"Directions for guests arriving on late flights using a rental car were a bit problematic but are now resolved after constructive recommendations and discussion with their delightful and cooperative management. Fantastic location right on the edge of the spectacular Muri lagoon and plenty of kayaks, SUPs, goggles, snorkels available for guest use. The restaurant does excellent breakfasts and dinners."

"A lucky find. In my opinion, they are situated in the best position on the island. The poolside environment was quiet, calm and relaxing. Laguna restaurant and personnel are fantastic; the food is delicious, and they are more than willing to accommodate special dietary needs. I rate the Moana,Laguna and airport shuttle team 10********!"

"This is a beautiful resort within close distance to shopping, bus stops and driving distance to the nearest beach in Muri. You also get so see beautiful art done by local artists including the owners Kanoe and Rudy all around Tropical Sands and within the rooms. We had the best time and both Rudy and Kanoe were so welcoming and kind and helpful. Very clean rooms and they were eco friendly and sustainable with organic rubbish separated from general waste and plastic. This place is an artists dream with location close to the ocean so you get nature, sand, sea and art in a beautiful location. The best stay for us!. Meitaki ma'ata to Rudy and Kanoe we highly recommend Tropical Sands to anyone traveling to Rarotonga."

"Michele and Svein were wonderful hosts, welcoming us after hours and setting us up for a lovely few nights' stay. Svien was always on hand to help in any way. The property isn't on a sandy beach; it is on a wild coastline, which was perfect for our kids - so no beach swimming, but the pool is large (one of the larger ones from our experience in Rarotonga). The room was good for a family. It is very old and tired, but they are in the process of renovating. The villas provide a good base to sleep and then go exploring the island for the day/s. The highlight of the stay was Svien picking a Coconut and opening it for the kids - they loved it!! Thank you"

"Accomodation right on the beach with 2 loungers which were put to good use. Grandsons loved the sea and found it easier swim spot near the Muri Sailing Club. Easy access to Muri Night Market, the Museum, stores etc. Roosters were no problems, and the boys enjoyed the roaming dogs. Bit sad at the state of the waterfall area. Beautiful Rarotonga. Thank you."
