Great stay the weather was perfect , and the Bach is a Bach which was great ,right on the waters edge close to walks and boat ramp
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The property is just as the owners describe, a treasured family bach with an enchanting story, passed through the ages. A perfect escape, spectacular views over the water, beautiful bush, all at the doorstep.
A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better than what we had the privilege of enjoying here thank you to the hosts who share their slice of paradise
We had a great time away in Ngakuta bay at this cute little Bach. Authentic kiwi holiday get away. It was also so nice to be able to bring our dog along with us.
We areived late around 7pm and left by 6am the next day for the ferry. It was perfect for what we needed and very quiet and relaxing.A pity we couldn't stay and get a real chance at taking advantage of the propertys location which was stunning.
Had a great relaxing stay the week before Easter with some lovely mild weather in the Bay.
Bach was perfect for our family of 5 and was great being able to bring our fur baby too.
Had everything we needed with a great layout. Beautiful view with morning coffee in bed! Lovely swimming a short walk down to the foreshore and great fishing for the kids off the jetty too - my daughter caught a good sized gurnard! Loved the pukeko family right outside. Overall a wonderful, peaceful stay - will be back soon!
Absolutely loved our week long stay, classic kiwi bach in absolutely stunning location. The views alone offer so much tranquil; easy access to walking tracks and beach. We traveled with dog, it’s very pet friendly accommodation, large garden with trees for shade on a hot day, though not fully fenced. But still perfect place for those travelling with dog. Short drive to Picton, Blenheim, or Havelock North. Highly recommend.
This was a lovely spot to stay, especially coming off the ferry after a late crossing. We hope to return for longer! Lovely sense of family history in the shade. The only issue we had was the mains power was unexpectedly off when we arrived so had to hunt out the switch. It wasn't really a problem, but just a surprise. Thanks!
